The Clinic organizes counseling groups for the relatives of the patients, which are based on the family as a whole. The role of the family is crucial as it constitutes the basic supportive system and source of care for the patient. The ultimate goal of the teams is to support patients and relatives to be able to cope with the effects of mental illness on the psycho-emotional and social life of the family. Therefore, these groups are an indirect supply to the hospitalized, as they help them to deal more effectively with their illness, by helping them to achieve their treatment.
More specifically, these groups give participants the opportunity to:
Be informed about the disease and effectively deal with it
Help and be relieved of the burden of the illness
To freely express their feelings, their anxiety and their agonies.
